This is another good ICE Magco filter that I've added to my growing collection. I've been happy with all of the filters and this is no exception. Please note that you are only able to stack other magnetic filters on these due to the lack of threading on the front. If you want to stack a non magnetic filter along with this, it needs to be closer to the lens. Being a CPL, this will probably be the top layer anyway if you do stack.The performance of the filter is good. The filter rotates very smoothly. Even though it's magnetic, it feels sturdy and nice to adjust.I docked a star because of the case. Most of the ICE filters that I have gotten have come in a standard clear plastic case, but a few of them have been useless on arrive. They're unable to be closed. That hasn't happened for other filter cases that I have.Overall, I would recommend this filter.

The filter performs excellently but the soft plastic storage case does not because it won't lock closed. The default is inherent in the design and manufacture, utilizing a soft plastic tab that won't engage and lock. Of course you don't buy a filter because of its storage case but I expected more from this company as I have other Magco filters that were supplied in a different-style higher-quality case.I am happy with the filter itself and it locks securely into its magnetic filter ring. It also locks into other manufacturer's magnetic rings including Kase's.
