I have a 2014 Tundra. It gets abused. The last one cracked when I was loading firewood into the bed and was almost 6 years old. Considering it has lasted longer than the Rhino lining in most parts of the tailgate, and being rear ended, I consider it a win.The last one finally bit the dust on a drive from West Texas to home in the evening. I only know that because it was on there when I left, but not when I got home. It was hanging on for life for a few months, so I wasn't surprised.Love how easy to install and durable it is.

Fit PERFECTLY and installed in 2 minutes. All holes lined up exactly as they should and came with the required clips instead of having to find and buy separately. Glad I spent a few more bucks on this one vs another that was cheaper but sounded like it wouldn't be quite as good at this one.

This is as good if not better than Toyota part, easy to install, looks great. I priced others but this had clips included and great reviews so I got it. You will not be sorry if you get this. I recommend having your old tailgate protector handy to help line up the attachment points on the new one. It helps to know how each attachment point goes in and what kind of pressure to put on it to engage properly.

I usually only buy the best for my truck. It was hard, however, to pay $250 for a tailgate cap from Toyota knowing it would get scuffed and scratched right away. I took a chance and bought this one. It is perfect! Mine is made in Taiwan, and looks exactly like the old one. The texture, color and fit are an absolute match. It even seems more robust than the original Toyota part, and should stand up better long term.
