We love kinetic sand. And this is an exciting way to enjoy it. We love the ability to make our own colors and mix them up. We initially had an issue with some exploded ink but the company was very generous in fixing the issue. Id buy from them again.

This is our first experience with kinetic sand but my son likes playing with it, floam and cloud slime so I figured this would be a new kind of sensory experience that kind of mixes it all together. There's plenty of accessories included in this kit. The sand comes in 2 bags and needs to be separated and color mixed by the buyer - kind of a pain in the butt. I get it kind of adds to the experience but my son was impatient. It includes storage bags but I decided to use some food storage containers instead because they're more convenient. There's only one mixing bowl so I didn't even use it - I wanted the portions to be as equal as possible so I just mixed the colors in the storage containers.Once separated and mixed it was time to play. The sand felt a little soft, squishy, yet grainy. It was pretty cool. It was easy to make molds and they hold together well. Mixing together colors gives a cool marbling affect until they're mixed too much. It's only a matter of time before everything ends up mixed together, but oh well. It'll still be fun to play with!It comes with plenty of small molds and tools, and even a sand tray but it's not very big. We have a set of 100+ cookie cutters and some play dough tools that are fun to use with this sand, too. I've found it best to put down some news paper on the table (helps make cleanup easier) and use a baking sheet to provide a bigger playing surface. Whatever spills on the floor I just vacuum up. So overall a pretty fun activity when stuck indoors for the winter.

It was a portion of the price with a LOT more product and I can’t tell the difference from the name brand. My toddlers love it and I actually enjoy playing with it too. Easy clean up, lots of mold, get to make your own colors and cheaper than the rest. Definitely a win win
