Absolutely a must buy! It makes the tiniest little bubbles, it is heavy enough to stay down in the tank even with great pressure! I absolutely recommend.

I really love this airstone. Better than any others I’ve tried in the past. It looks like it puts out so much air but the pressure isn’t too strong for the fish.

Looks really clean and cool and worked well. Then it clogged and no bubbles came out. Returned it and got another one, worked well for a few weeks then hardly any bubbles coming out. Am soaking it in bleach right now to unclog it. But even if that works I will throw it away next time it clogs. not worth having to deep clean it every month. too bad, looks great in a tank.

This is overall a very nice airstone, fit and finish wise it looks and feels great and seems to be quality made. It does have an interesting way of dispersing the bubbles, they eminate from the outer ring of the circle around the circumpherence in a very uniform line, which looks quite nice, though it may not be ideal especially in large sizes for critters who like to go airstone "surfing" and ride that bubble wave up to the top, that said it still might work out in the smaller size. It definitely puts out a large quantity of small and fairly uniform bubbles, and I think it'll do an above average job of aerating a tank as far as circular disc style airstones go. Well weighted, stays down at the bottom easily. Good value at $14 for the 2.3" size. The first picture does a more realistic job of showing what the product looks like, at least in the size i received, no bubbles eminate from the center of the disc, they all eminate from around the edge as mentioned previously.
