I had to modify the location of my saws mount slightly but the cylinder needed no mods and everything works WAY better than just using the weighted spring system the saw came with. I can now walk away and not hover over the saw in case it jams up. Real time saver for me!

This is a common mod For power band saws to let the sock cut at a consistent rate. No need to DIY it, everything you need is in this kit. Recommended

This is a good quality easy to use Hydraulic feed damper. Or in this case band saw feed adjustment damper. Great functionality with minor mods to wellsaw 600 but... had to custom make standoffs for it. Its metric and smaller holes than OEM one was. Also light years ahead of OEM so worth the mod. Good size. And fully adjustable speed.

I had a few items that needed to be adjusted. First, the valve was all the way open when received. This was not obvious so I attempted to loosen it more. The knob twisted off. I had to put some metal glue on the threads and reassemble. No biggie but worth mentioning.Next, the action was not super smooth at first. It was almost like there was air in the cylinder. Not sure what happened, but it started working smoother after a few uses.I would like to be able to make it drop a little faster at times. When cutting really soft material, it would be nicer to cut quicker.Big plusses: It was basically a bolt in for my saw. started working smoothly after a few uses. has a nice valve on/off/lock that works independent of the speed flow valve. it is simple. better than the spring control it came with.

our cylinder stopped working, so i got this to replace it. The speed adjustment works as it should, and it bolted right up to our bandsaw.
