I bought the T handle model. It's nicely made, very polished with a well rounded point. For the price, compared to other spikes available, it's a good deal.The spike easily unscrews from the handle. This serves no purpose, it's not a multitool, and is a real nuisance when you need to twist the spike. A T handle let's you wrap the cord around a bar for grip when tightening. The bars needed to be longer and to not unscrew. I plan to try some thread locker as soon as I find my bottle of Locktite.

I wanted this as a paracord needle with a pusher helper, to get the needle through tight weaves. Does not replace a solid spike when twisting and levering is required. The threads are smooth while repeatedly added/removing the handle on tight knots (yes, I know I should tie loose then tighten over multiple passes) this works for me when I go back and change or add to a completed project

Nice idea, good implementation, but ìt unscrews itself when used as a marlinspike. The slick finish prevents hand tightening and using pliers would roughen the surface. Frustrating to use.
