I've had issues in the past with aftermarket carbs. This particular carb is awesome! I installed it on a husqvarna HU800AWD. Single pull and it ran like a champ (no tuning needed). It's also nice that they included a fuel filter since the oem fuel line doesn't include one. The only piece I didn't use was the new throttle spring. This spring was too tight so I used the original so I wouldn't have to recalibrate the throttle speed. Super easy to install. Definitely well worth the expense. I replaced mine since it was rpm surging. Had tried cleaning and it didn't fix the issue.

I was a bit skeptic about ordering this kit. It had everything I wanted and needed so I gave it a shot. Installing the parts were fast and easy. I primed the engine and it started right off the bat. I was surprised. I continued to use the motor with a stout load on it and it performed as if it was a new motor. I would give the product five stars. It worked flawlessly for me and my outcome was far greater than I had hoped for. This is a quality aftermarket product that works just as good as OEM.

Well-packaged, comes with everything needed to freshen the fuel delivery system. Problem being, product quality is lacking: throttle stuck full-open (spring is not strong enough to return the vane to closed). I gave up and decided I'd deal with it the next morning...an hour later I smell raw gas emanating from the garage: the o-ring at the bowl does not seal and a full tank of gas evacuated.Maybe mine was defective. But, having 2 independent major problems immediately is not indicative of a quality product. Save yourself the hassle - for a few $ more you can have all OEM parts that just plain work and save you time.

My HRX217 was running very rich. I narrowed it down to the carb and ordered this replacement. This carb fits and works well on the HRX217 K5. There are multiple versions of the HRX217, so you need to be careful when ordering a carb. I would recommend finding the exact carb replacement number from Honda and use that. If you just use the model number of the mower, you might end up with a wrong carb. From what I can tell, the base carb is the same on the Honda 190 engines, but it can have different linkage depending on the exact Honda model and version.As you can see from the photos, the carb linkage is the same and the base is only slightly different from the factory honda carb. I bolted the carb on and the mower fired right up. This kit has the necessary gaskets, spark plug, fuel line, fuel valve, and choke linkage. Basically everything you would need for a carb replacement except for the choke thermowax actuator.
