The blade is good for mulching. I was a little disappointed at the sharpness. I had to put a decent edge on it before using it.

It's a perfect replacement to what I had and every few years just worth it to get a new blade. Makes a huge difference in cutting thick grass. Glad I found it online as harder to find in stores now.

It took me less than five minutes to remove my old blade and put on the new one. My Husqvarna mower is making my lawn look like a paid professional cut it and I am proud to do it myself. Where has this blade been all my lawn mowing life?? Been using the mower provided high lift blade for many, many years and with the closed bagging chute and getting decent mulching results. Decided to give this blade a try as it was getting time for a new blade. What a DIFFERENCE!! The grass is chopped to a finer degree and with very little or no clumping compared with the high lift blade. Even with the bag attached and the chute open using this mulching blade, the grass slivers compact better in the bag for easier dumping. The chore of lawn mowing will never change but the technology surrounding the effort is only getting better. Will never be without a mulching blade from this year forward.
