Husqvarna Throttle Trigger Part Number 574355301 does not fit some earlier versions of the 128LD (952711969) String Trimmer - without extensive modification (see below).According to Husqvarna 128LD Service Reference (Part E):> 128LD (952711969) Trimmers with Serial Numbers 2010-73N and higher use P/N 574355301.> 128LD (952711969) Trimmers with Serial Numbers 2010-72N and lower use P/N 545066001.Earlier versions of Husqvarna Part Number P/N 545066001 may also be found as 545072001 or 530059087 for other models and brands.Part numbers 545066001, 545072001, and 530059087 are all obsolete and not readily available at retail. It is possible that individual units may still be found in private hands.It may also be possible to update 128LD Trimmers 2010-72N and earlier to use this currently available trigger part number 574355301 by replacing the entire handle assembly using the parts shown in the above Service Reference (Part E).As an alternative, it is also possible to modify this currently available trigger part number 574355301 by machine or with hand tools by removing material and reshaping it enough to function in place of 545066001 (see additional photos for stepwise modification).

You will need hex drivers to disassemble your trimmer. I believe a T15 is the correct size.
