It is recommended to draw a diagram of the fuel line routing before removing the old lines. Push the pointed end of the fuel line into the hole of the tank, then pull through with a pair of hemostats.

Kit has 2 sizes of fuel tubing, the smaller of the two is .08x.140 inch which is what the 142 requires for fuel line. Got my saw repaired.

Needed to replace fuel lines on Husq 128 string trimmer. This set did the job perfectly. The only different is this tubing is more clear and a harder material than the original (original was yellowish and spongier). Would by again. If you are buying this for that same repair, look up a few Youtube videos and pay attention to the the set up on your current trimmer before taking it apart (length of lines specifically and where the pins go). Also, use a lubricant on the tubing. Makes the job much easier.

Purchased this to go with a new carburetor and fuel filter, it has the fittings and everything worked like a charm. It has basic instructions on cutting the tube to a tip, but I didn't like the instruction for cutting everything to the same size. You're better off cutting one end to the sharp tip, and then inserting and pulling through to attach the fitting, adding another tube, and then adding the filter. Then back everything out. I did use a heat gun to soften the tube to make insertion easier.Should also purchase Hemostat clamps to act as curved needle-nose pliers to be able to grab the tubing after inserting into the tank.Long story short, watch a few youtube videos.

I like that it comes with the fuel line fitting. I have a habit of losing them while the trimmers on the bench. Two different fuel line sizes included in this package to accommodate different styles of trimmers. Fuel lines of good quality. Would definitely recommend.

I was very happy that they sent both sizes of hoses and extra of each one just in case you mess up some kind of way . The hardest part of my job was removing the entire housing to be able to get to the tank . I found a video on youtube that helped me a lot . Once I was able to get the tank out , it took just a couple of minutes to feed each hose through it's specific hole in the tank and through the housing . It was very easy replacing the hoses . It's been running like new since I changed out the old brittle hoses . Thank you very much .
