The photos are accurate; I got the belt in black, with the silver buckle and gilded longhorn head. My little boy loved the buckle as I was unboxing; he clapped and demanded to hold it. It is eye-catching but not too large; it's definitely about as Western theme as you could get and if you're not planning to go two-stepping in a honky-tonk with this belt you might be doing it wrong.I have a hand-tooled leather guitar strap with a similar pattern and I was kind of hoping this might have that stiff, but hand-worked feel; it doesn't. It feels like a vinyl belt that was molded into shape. The pattern is very regular, the sheen is an even plastic gloss, and the feel of the entire thing is plasticky. Inspecting the belt edge, you don't see the edge of a hide; rather the beveled surface layers meet seamlessly at an edge. Everything says "genuine leather" but apparently a small amount of leather powder mixed into plastic qualifies you for this designation, and I think that's what we're working on here. For the price, I guess that shouldn't be surprising.Highly recommended if you're thinking about doing some Western cosplay. If you are looking for hand-chased leather craftsmanship - and I know a lot of you are - look elsewhere.

I bought it for a kid and it is for an adult. I'm sure that was my fault. It is a beautiful set and well made. Love the box it came in.

Ok keep in mind, this is a lightweight belt and it's not going to be as good as an expensive leather belt made out of snakeskin or something. But this is a beautiful belt, especially the buckle part is just immense. Of course I've ruined better-crated belts so perhaps it will eventually wear out (I'm saying wearing extensively for 2-3 years), but I think more or less it would last as long as any leather belt out there with zero maintenance. That's the positive about buying a good cheap belt. But this belt doesn't look cheap, it's just I think the leather is kind of tough and not the highest quality but to be honest, I don't notice it while wearing it and maybe it's not as soft as more expensive belts, it is beautiful and it works and most likely last a long time with no maintenance!!! I will update if anything changes, I am not wearing this a lot but I have worn it once and it didn't feel any less than the more expensive belts I have.

I needed a new Western belt as my last one was wearing out. I found this one and was willing to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. I opted for the burgundy red color. I'm not sure if the belt is made with 100% leather, but it has a nice "Western-style" pattern down the entire length. I'm not sure how long the belt will hold up over time, but I'm willing to add it to my rotation. The loop end can open which will allow you to change buckles as needed. It also comes with a leather hole punch, giving you the option of making additional holes to accommodate your waist size. The buckle is not large nor too gaudy. It appears to be of decent quality. I like the box it comes in. It's a very nice touch.If you're looking for a casual Western belt at a good price, then definitely give this one a try.

This style of belt is almost a requirement living in Texas. The buckle is easy to use, and stays in place. The leather is thick, and actually looks better once you get a little bit of wear on it. The buckle feels a bit heavy, but you forget it is there after a little bit. This actually took the place of my regular belt for almost two months now. It is just the one I reach for first by default at this point.

This is a great quality western belt. It came packaged in a very nice round 2-piece box and would be suitable for gifting. I was looking for a belt to sit lower to wear with some low-rise jeans and my cowboy boots and this was perfect! It also looked great with my Longhorn gold pendant. I also plan on wearing it low with a longer skirt and oversized cable sweater with boots. My boyfriend plans on borrowing it when we go to the Rodeo. Overall, high quality and a great buy!
