The old Durango 4.7L engine isn't the most durable around so this kit is pretty handy if you've kept yours going with incessant oil changes and no over-exertion, but the time has come for a top-end rebuild, and that's sooner or later for everybody. This thing eats cams and has poor lubrication to start with so if you reach the point where you rebuild it with at least 125k miles on it, you're doing well in my opinion. And you will need this kit, or something like it, but I think this kit is one of the better one I could have gotten. it's very complete. Everything for every connection of anything that bolts to the heads and timing cover at every point you need a gasket. Even includes the new head bolts you will want to use because your old ones will be stretched and not safe to re-use. My shop crew used this on our top-end rebuild and thought it was pretty good - and very complete. I recommend this kit.

Pictures show set comes with valve stem seals but there were no valve stem seals in package

Head bolts are for 99-03 only. Had to buy new head bolts for $135 for 04 and up are different which advertises wrongly. All the rest of the gaskets are OK.
