This the fifth HP Laser printer I've purchased in the past 25 years.It's the first printer I've regretted buying.My particular use case is I print perhaps 50 pages over the span of a week and then a ream's worth of paper once a week.I'd like to turn it off when it's not in use, but don't dare turn it off because boot up takes about 2 minutes. Sometimes, during bootup, it can get confused and never escape its boot routine which means turning it off and starting over. So once it manages to boot up, I'll leave it powered on.I have no idea what it's doing when I send a print job to it but it takes an inordinate amount of time to get going, and once it's going, to finish the job. It pauses frequently during the print job like it's taking a break from working too hard. It was like that from day 1.Print quality is excellent so the printer gets a 2 star rating. I wouldn't buy this printer again and I'll be very careful about replacing it when it's time is up in four years. HP used to be a slam dunk purchase but this printer has trashed that for me.

fast, clear printing and works great for two-sided print jobs. Used in an office setting where we have to print 100+ two-sided print jobs daily. The extra high yield cartridge feature is an added bonus. Print jobs stay clear, no smearing or lines even after printing 100+ jobs which is what we need.

Just need it to print labels for shipping and they start out fine but then it will start skipping pages entirely. By the end the print looks like a compressed jpg from the 90s. Do not make a mistake and buy a HP printer, they are not worth the trouble it anymore.
