I have been using this glue gun for almost 2 months now. at least 2 sticks a day, it fits my DeWalt battery and works awesome. It literally heats up within seconds, the glue does not stick to the tip of the gun as It used to happen with other ones I used earlier. and best of all its super lightweight. perfect addition to my existing DeWalt toolkit.

DeWalt version: First impression is very good. Heats fast and did not drip at all. Not a drop, no strings, no glue I didn't want came out. Sits on its own very stable, and fairly compact for how big the battery is. Can't speak to durability yet. So far, if you already have DeWalt batteries it's a no brainer. I always have at least a couple batteries charged ready to go. Wish I had found this earlier.

This cordless glue gun was a great addition to my large crafty family. We have two other guns but I personally preferred this one because it heated pretty fast and the glue flowed smoothly without much drip. If you already have a DeWalt battery, it’s worth every penny.

I've spent a lot of money on glue guns lately. My GF is a crafter and I consider myself a maker so I wanted something that worked well. I bought a high-end expensive cordless glue gun that drips from the time you turn it on till the time you turn it off. This glue gun is great. Its very lightweight. I am very happy that I found this. Uses standard Dewalt batteries, heats up fast, DOES NOT DRIP. Love it. If this ever stops working I will be replacing it with another just like it.

I've used this glue gun a few times now and it performs excellently BUT the user needs to be aware that if you leave it on with a battery attached it will drain the battery until it's dead to the world. I mean dead as in, won't take a charge after, level of dead. And I was using a Dewalt factory battery. Buyer beware.

Fast. Thick and stickyHeated up really quick. Has larger sticks but same size hole so less refills required. Drip resistant. And long battery life if you use a large battery. The quality was really good. Use was well

Good size, sturdy/well made, lasted long on my smaller DeWalt battery. Feeds and flows smoothly. Bought it to glue outdoor lights to fencing during the holidays and was great to use quickly and cord-free. Good value.

I was sceptical about buying this as it is not properly DeWalt but chose this one as it had no real negative reviews, only complaints about it not having batteries.I am extremely impressed with this tool. I'm a professional carpenter and was on a large job site with very limited power. I use this hot glue gun to temporarily fasten four drawer fronts to the drawers on 65 hotel suites. The batteries fit perfectly and there is an on off switch with an LED light indicator. The gun heats up shockingly fast ready to use in not much more than one minute. The gun gets to a certain temperature that is perfect for the glue flow but doesn't exceed that temperature. Because of that you don't get any glue dripping out of the front or in some other brands actually melting the front of the gun. People complained that the batteries didn't last long but I was able to do 50 to 60 drawer fronts on a four hour battery without killing it. I've only used it for that purpose for approximately four or five days, but I would consider that industrial use not craft use. I will update if it were to fail anytime soon but as it stands this is a very good tool.
