This adapter works perfectly to connect my DWE6421, standard 5” dewalt sander to 27mm Festool hose. Hose inserts easily and has never fallen out. Adapter slides onto the sander and stays in place like it should. It could not work any better.

I was very skeptical of this adapter. I assumed there was a very small chance that it would fit my specific DeWalt sander. Even when I took it out of the package I told myself this isn't going to work. I would like apologize to ToolCurve for my utterly baseless assumption. This adapter works perfectly. If there is any potential buyer out there reading this review, no BS, this WILL work. Buy it now and don't worry, it'll work and is well worth $20. Thanks again ToolCurve

What a great tool. I bought this to connect my DeWalt orbital hand sander to my Festool Midi. There is a long slip interference fit on the sander and the tool locks on the Festool perfectly. Great purchase!

Beautifully crafted. Fits perfect. Works on all my DEWALT sanders and even the dust ports on my circular saws. If you use a DEWALT sander and a Festool hose get this adapter. I will be buying more pieces from toolcurve!

I had to combine and alter 3 different Vac attachments (pictured next to sander with toolcurve adapter attached) I had on hand in order to use my festool dust extractor with my dewalt sander. It worked but it did not lock on to the hose so it would come off on occasion. I received this attachment today and put it to work. The toolcurve adapter fit securely and functioned as expected. Will probably look to purchase adapters for my Dewalt table saw and miter saw since i had to 'frankenstein' vac attachments for those as well. Very happy with purchase.
