My horse wore this out to the field once and by the time she came in, in the morning, it had a huge hole (see picture). It did not hold up at all. The stitching just came undone. If you need it for stall use only I guess it would be fine but it’s cheap and the quality just isn’t there. When I went to get her out the field the whole fly mask had shifted with the eye part on her forehead. I’m not even sure if she could see. I will not be purchasing again.

i gave this a 3 because I'm the only one who can get these on my horses. There isn't any opening at the bottom like most fly masks, so you have to stretch it over the nose and pull up and down...No one else at my house will use them!

I ordered this style of face mask for the 1st time. I have always liked the acrylic or stretchy ones. That look like bug eyes or racing masks. But I have a horse that rolls very aggressively. His mask had twisted and left him unable to see. This style has a lot more mesh to cover the face rather than just the eyes. I am hoping he does not turn it backwards.

I have never encountered a one size fits all fly mask that would not go on my horse! The fabric feels cheap and the mesh is very stiff. Thankfully I had no trouble returning these even though I had opened the package. Do not waste your time or money on these inferior products.

I actually bought this fly mask because it was so reasonable and I needed one the next day while I waited for a more expensive name-brand one to come in the mail, but I am so pleasantly surprised by how well it fits and how light it is, that I am planning to continue using it even though the other one has arrived.

Negatives - the lycra is thin which worried me as well as it can be itchy. The closure can be a little wonky getting strapped on.Positives-the mesh is not as dense and dark as other brands so if tou have a horse that can't see well, or wears it into the night I feel they can see better. The way the mask is made keeps the mesh off of their eyes VERY well even if they were rubbing.My mare has been using for 2 wks now? Unfortunately the mesh has ripped where the ear mesh connects to the lycra on the face part. I have however ordered 2 more for my other horses.

I like how it fits. The horses don’t try to rub it off. The mesh is soft. There is ample room around the eye. They seem to be comfortable for the horses. They might be a bit small for a horse with a large head. They fit my horse’s perfectly. They work very well. I am happy. I’ve used them for a week now and the horses are not trying to rub them off. They are not ripped!
