Instructions are very vague but it is not rocket science.The OEM insert has a pin to lock it in correct orientation but the pin on this is in wrong spot. It is not a big deal, just snap the pin and eyeball to make sure the orientation is correct.Time will tell how the aluminum coating will last.

Cheap quality, alignment pin that keeps the inner peice around filler neck from turning doesn't line up with hole for it on the quarter panel so it will continuously keep moving around as you drive, doesn't sit flush on the quarter panel either,the door won't stay shut as your driving either needs a magnet on it to keep it shut or the pin for the door needs to be tighter... it's better than the few year old corroded one I had but it's a cheap quality design don't expect much the price is a bit much in my opinion

This product is packaged nicely and it easy and straight forward to figure out installation.Does come with instructions which aid.Tools you’ll need are a Phillips screw driver, and a couple wedges or flathead screwdrivers. The kit comes with an Allen wrench for installation as well.The HARDEST PART of the whole installation was getting my original, 15+ year old gas cover off my Jeep. Keep in mind you’ll never need it again, so I ripped it off in the end.

Not great quality and I found the instructions difficult to follow. Watch a YouTube video for help. It doesn’t fit flush against my jeep and I was missing two hex screws - but I’m honestly not even sure what they are for anyway???I wouldn’t buy again, but it’s fine for now.

Looks nice except its not without blemishes under the powder coating. Never installed one before so I googled because it didn't come with instructions. It came with 2 screws need to find out were the go because the front plate will move off center. One clip broke snapping it in. Couldn't get the strap that goes on the gas cap (its round) into the oblong hole. My opinion .. good practice for me for the next time UPDATE not holding up well for being on 3 months. Very loose

The directions that come with this are reasonable but I do suggest looking at some YouTube videos, too. Especially on how to access the back side of the filler tube to get the old piece out.I like the look of this one and it’s nice to have a door over the gas cap.
