The product work perfectly, is the delivery service that did not work. My husband lost 4 hours of work, in order to pick up the thermostat. USPS keep pushing the delivery date, with plenty of excuses. Foreseeing the freezing nights that we had in the last few days, he took time away from work to pick up the item. It was sitting in the Georgetown office.

The item ordered, a thermostat, had a manufacturing defect in the battery compartment that kept the battery from making a complete circuit, therefore it was useless and had to be returned.

We replaced an old thermostat where we had to connect the wires around the screws. This one you just stick em through the hole. Very easy to connect.

I was quoted over $500 to have thermostat replaced. I googled the model number and was able to locate the exact model originally installed. The mount was still there so literally just snapped in and took me 30 seconds to have heat and central air again. I'm hoping this will last longer than original install, but I have no proof the contractor used a brand new thermostat.

You have to configure it through the menus.Set a heat temp separately. Permanent holdSet a cool temp separately. Permanent holdSet to ATUO mode, and it will switch between modes as you go over/under your set temps by a degree or two.has two mounting options, I used the bigger plate as I was installing in place of a larger older unit.Once setup, walk away and forget it!
