Based on the product rating, people usually get a new and working product, but not me! I thought I should write this review as a warning to the company: packaged arrived previously opened and taped-up; product obviously previously used (and presumably returned to company); signs of corrosion in both battery compartments; and most frustratingly, simply didn't work.I've asked for a replacement and will update my review when I get it.

This is a excellent product for a thermostat it’s the best and very easy to use but it takes someone knows how to install the unit because it is very complicated to install

This was the second unit I received (first one was returned)- the device does NOT keep a consistent temperature. Heat runs up well past set temp. Spoke to support but they were unable to offer a remedy. Time and money wasted. Now looking for another thermostat.

This thermostat was recommended by our HVAC guy. I am not an HVAC guy so it took me a minute or two to figure out the jumper. But the instructions are clear. Ours is installed in a dark corner. I particularly like that I can press a button that turns on the back light. The display has large numbers that are easy to see, and there are two buttons to adjust the temperature up or down. I wish I had gotten this a long time ago.

This replaced a mercury thermostat from the 70s for our 2 wire low voltage system with baseboard heaters. Once we figured out that we had to choose our heat source from the menu to get it to regulate the temp properly, it worked great. Looks sleek, easy to read, easy to install.

I purchased this thermostat to replace my old analog thermostat in my RV. I wanted to be able to see exactly what temperature I was at rather than crudely guess. I installed this Honeywell thermostat in about 10 minutes without instruction. It was very easy to wire and set. I will say the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the openings for the wires were a bit small. I had to trim my large cables down to fit into the unit, not a big deal!

We replaced our old, malfunctioning Honeywell dial thermostat with this. We do not have central air, so we use this for our hot water baseboard heat only. Installation was a breeze. I like that the display lights up when the buttons are pushed. I have not heard a clicking sound when the heat kicks on. It works great, and we plan to update the other two thermostats in our home with these!

I used this thermostat to replace the older mechanical thermostat in our apartment. The installation itself took about 10 min and didn't need too much skill at all. I'd say anyone with just an average understanding of assembling and wiring can do the install.Have been using this product for about a week now and can say that it works great. Way better and more comfortable than the older mechanical unit and a lot more accurate.For the price i paid for this product, I'd say it's a steal. Not to mention the box even comes with the batteries needed for the unit. Overall a thumbs up for the product and 5 stars for ease of installation, ease of operation and how neat it looks installed.
