This looks to be a genuine Honda replacement bag. Fit the bag frame I had. Since Honda quit making mowers, the price of parts is going up.

Plastic tabs slip right over bag frame very easily. Has handle in the rear to make emptying the bag easier.

This fit my HRX 217 perfectly right down to the white label sewn on the left side. The reason some reviewers say it lets more dust into the air is because the micropores in the bag are not clogged. Yes, it is actually picking up and discharging more air. I found the over-all suction of the mower increased by about 30%, and, my mower is only 2 years old. The top of the bag was 80% clogged and the sides about 50%. I always use the full bag setting (never mulch) and occasionally mow before the lawn is completely dry from the morning dew. Of course, this decreases the useful life of the bag. The cut quality is also better since the increased vacuum pulls the grass up and produces a more uniform cut. Really, the bag should be replaced every year just like the oil, plug, & air filter.

The bag on my HRX217 was pretty worn so I decided to replace it along with a blade and motor tuneup. The blade and other parts arrived before the bag so I installed them first. I replaced my blade and completely cleaned the underside of the mower. The old blade was very dull and chewed up, and didn't pick up lawn clippings very well. Although the blade was new, it still didn't seem to do a good job throwing the clippings into the bag (although it was definitely cutting better). Then this new Honda bag arrived. Man, am I glad to have this. I noticed the difference immediately. My mower turned into a cutter/vacuum. Everything went into the bag. It finally occurred to me that in order for the blades to do their job, air needed to flow through the grass bag. My old bag was clogged. This has been a really satisfying purchase. It fit just like it should and installed in about two minutes. I'm very happy with this product.
