This is the upgraded cam from honda that addressed an issue with cracking around the compression release mounting points. The older versions would crack and allow the compression release cam to fall out of place causing hard starting or no starting depending on severity of the defect. This cam has reinforced those places with extra material and redesigned the fasteners to prevent unwanted movement.

This fixed my little Honda snow blower I bought for $120. The compression release on start up was not working and it was nearly impossible to pull the rope. All OEM parts and fit perfectly making install easy. Shipping took a while but was shipped when they said. Old cam gear was worn quite a bit. Along with hard starting it would surge. Now it runs perfectly. Satisfied customer! Great price!

Fairly easy to install, and it worked.Got this kit because my Honda power washer was leaking oil from the O ring.Did the trick.

I got this part due to my power washer would not start. I watched some videos, ordered this part, and I installed it the other day. No More yanking the start rope out of my hand!

The small engine would kick back and rip the cord out of your hand. This cam fixed the problem. Compression release on the old cam was worn.
