I usually love this product line, but it’s hard to dispense the tape from this dispenser.Also, I haven’t received the temporary Hem Tape yet!

The dispenser does not work properly and ultimately ends up wasting a lot of the tape in the process. The tape is great, the dispenser is not.

Order 2: 4 stars. Took a chance and reordered. Second dispenser cuts adequately and tape quality matches expectations from many prior purchases. Raised rating from 2 stars to 4. Not pleased with needed to return order 1 or with time wasted testing a bad product, but mostly worried that availability of a excellent, consistent product is threatened.Wrote originally for order 1: 2 stars. After several inches of wasted tape and after thorough investigation under very bright light, my conclusion is that the tape gun components are improperly aligned such that the cutter will not work. The tape itself appears to be a quality item. As a long time user of the product that had been unable to buy a replacement or refills during the pandemic, I was thrilled to find this offered again. I tried substitutes that left residue on clothing or seemed to be dried up or with unrecoverable backing, including both other brands and other Hollywood offerings. I will return, reorder, and see what I get.

I love the fashion tape and use it on my button down shirts to prevent gaping between the buttons- this gun is perfect for me as I can stick the tape on the night before and then remove the paper backing when I am ready to go. This tape holds all day with no problems. The gun is easy to use, however I must mention the the built in cutter is a little bit awkward- but it does the job and the convenience of the system is worth the (VERY) minor annoyance. Cut a little, or a lot and you can purchase refills too! I'm definitely glad I purchased and no doubt will be back for refills again and again.
