I actually bought this for my 11yo son to use for his Halloween costume, not as as base layer. It's less snug than I would have expected for a base layer--the fit is more like what I would expect for pajamas. That may be because he's slender and tall for his age (around 5' tall at Halloween, i think). I was happy that the size large was the perfect length, though. Although the description says "fleece lined," these are not thick or what I would think of as fleece. It's more that the inward-facing side of the fabric has a soft, slightly fuzzy texture. (The outer side is smooth.) These would make excellent pajamas, and probably work well as a base layer too for kids for whom these are more snug than they are on my son.

My kid who hates to be itchy or hot loved these. They kept him warm outside (ice fishing) for a whole day and he said they are so soft. Will probably buy the next size for him too.

This thermal set keeps my kid warm without being too bulky. The material is soft and stretchy, which makes it comfy to wear all day. The fit is pretty good, though the top runs a little shorter than I’d like. It works well as a base layer for colder days, and my son hasn’t complained about it once, so that’s a win.

This compression top and bottom is long sleeve. Material is soft and thick to keep warm. Not see through and comfy. Washed well and did not shrink. Son is able to put on himself.

They are soft but they are not fleece lined whatsoever. They are very thin but my son likes them. they are true to size and did not shrink after wash

This is true to size, color and description. The interior is super soft, which halls help up through a couple washes, and it very warm while maintaining a lightweight, comfortable feel. This will be perfect for double laying in the winter or on its own. Very high quality and value for the price.

This thermal underwear set is extremely comfortable with flexible polyester/ spandex fabric. The fabric provides warmth yet a cool feeling on your skin. Both the pants and shirt for as expected. Quality of the set is worth the cost. Overall we are pleased with these thermal’s.

Got these for my son who plays baseball - fall and spring evenings in New England are cold! He tried out the shirt the other night for a game and loved it. Kept him warm - it's snug but not so tight that it's uncomfortable or restricts movement since it's stretchy. It's fleecy soft inside and just thick enough without being bulky at all. He ended up wearing the pants when he got home as pajamas because they were so comfortable. These will be a great base layer for winter under sweatpants/hoodies for him.He wears kids XXL/18 in pants (we got the XXL in these) and they fit great - even some room to grow, so they'll last us a bit, so the size chart is accurate. Great product & value!
