Your cart is empty.HD Clutches are designed at HD Clutch and Assembled in the USA. Higher Torque: 130 ft-lbs (OEM is 105 ft-lbs). We add a few more windings to our coils to provide the maximum gripping strength to prevent damaging micro-slipping during tough cutting conditions. The HD Switch BIGBearing design addresses the #1 reason clutches fail with a larger tougher pulley bearing. Machined Billet Pulleys: It is easy to damage formed pulley and damage (even a small stone nick) damages the belt with every rotation. With our Billet Pulley design, we include a snap ring so the bearing is replaceable, making this clutch rebuildable. Clutches all run very hot; we use a composite material instead of plastic to allow the heat to dissipate much faster. This makes the HD Clutch run much cooler; extending the bearing and clutch life. HD Clutch wrote the Bearing specifications to include Premium C3 Rated Bearings and high temperature rated synthetic grease to combat heat. Less Heat = Extended Life.

The last couple of years the old 15+ year old JD-155c is basically retired from mowing other than in the fall for the leaves or to pickup the extra from my larger non bagger Husqvarna so this should last it's lifetime. I think the oem clutch gave out and took my switch with it as I had to replace the switch at the same time.The harness only replaces from the clutch back to the main harness, I was hoping it went from the switch to the clutch. The plugin to the switch got hot and started to melt but luckily the new one works now. I ended up not using it.Follow the instructions on the clutch break-in so it will last. It does have a few inch's longer cord so make sure you tie it up out of the way.

I HAVE OWNED A SMALL ENGINE REPAIR SHOP FOR TWENTY FOUR YEARS. THIS WAS NOT ONLY STRAIGHT FORWARD AND A NO-BRAINER OF A PURCHASE, BUT THE IDEA OF REPLACEMENT WITH A HEAVY DUTY PTO CLUTCH WAS NOTICEABLE AS SOON AS THE PTO SWITCH WAS PULLED.The weight difference from OEM to this was impressive, the build quality and harness was great. And for many years I had been building wiring harnesses after mice or other damage had taken out the wiring.Easier the change the whole assembly with wiring harness than play games going any other route.

Was easy to install on my JD L130. No issues and cutting my yard now with it. No issues in 4 cuts. Cutting about 3 acres each time.
