When I purchased this item it stated it was for the driver side. After dismantling the door panel taping the window up and getting the window track out we discovered it the part is actually for the passenger side. We were able to install the part upside down from the factory one. Got the door panel back together and it works however now up is down and down is up. I was unable to contact the seller. I did contact Amazon and they were no help whatsoever either. I am not sure if you have ever dismantled a door panel but it is not easy. Hopefully this is helpful to someone else
