Unlike several other grommets that I've tried, these actually can withstand being soaked in gasoline. That is kind of important, considering that their entire purpose is to live at the bottom of a gas tank, while keeping the gas on the inside of the gas tank. Other grommets can/will swell up and split, or shrink and fall out. Neither of which will keep the gas inside of the tank.

Easy installation. Leaking gas tank no longer leaks. These bushings are press in. After prying out the old bushing and shutoff valve, lubricate the OD and ID of the new bushing with a thin coat of motor oil, press in the new bushing, then press in the gas shutoff valve.

It was a bit of a challenge to fit in the hole where the old one failed, a dab of motor oil rubbed around the nipple helped it slide in better. Original one had worn out after 5 years and solved the leaky tank when full and you hit a bump. Thanks.

This was a perfect match for my New Holland TC33D tractor. It stopped the diesel leak from the bottom of the fuel tank where the fuel hose leaves going to the fuel filter. It replaces the New Holland part #86532842 which is listed for $35.00 each
