Bits seem to be good quality. The magnet in the hex holder shattered after first use and now it doesn’t hold the bit in place. Bits keep falling out.

This tool bit set is fantastic. The kit is small so it fits in any tool bag. And the bits fit into the adapter easily. You can use them in a drill or in a hand tool. I use these all the time for work and home. And the price was a lot cheaper than others I was shopping for at the time. Great investment.

I bought this set almost 3 years ago, and I have been using it almost every weekend for different projects. Its case is sturdy and survived several falls on hard surfaces. Bits do their work even though they're not for heavy job. Nice set to have!

Very nice when you need an odd tip to do something. Compact carry case pretty good choice enclosed little cheap but will do most jobs. Good price. bought 2. One for van, one for house. tired of looking for odd tips when needed.

If you're looking for a relatively decent quality bit set at a decent price, look no further. This set has pretty much every specialty bit a person might need, and the bits stand up to abuse pretty well. It's not Snap-on or Mac, but it's not bad, either. And because it's not too expensive, a person could afford to pick up a couple sets, and keep them in the glove box, in the tool box, in the kitchen drawer, in the laundry room, so there's always one around when you need it.

Please understand, I am going to judge brands like Apex or Snap On pretty harshly compared to value brands because they charge a premium and I want to get what I pay them for. When compared to other value brands this Hiltex set holds up pretty well. I like them far better than the 32 piece of junk $10 set I bought from Drill-Hog. The machining was good. All of the bits were finished properly and sized properly. The Philips bits did not explode when I tested them by running screws into 2 x 4s nor did they deform, or strip the screws with light use. I really only bought them to get the box which is quite nice but I was pleased with the set. I took all the bits out and put the assortment I wanted back in but I put a surprising number of the Hiltex bits back in as I found nothing wrong with them. The metric set of hex bits is very complete and I put most of them into another box with my hex bit assortment. I do not have the expectations out of them that I would for Apex, Wiha, or Vega but CrV steel is underrated and, as well as they are machined, I should get some good use out them before their turn is up and I replace them with something else out of the cabinet. I would recommend to the hobbyist or homeowner who wants tools that fit but who will not use them real hard or on a daily basis. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the storage box. As the bits wear out, they can be replace with better tools if one chooses to do so.
