HILLMAN FASTENER 811056 3/8" Split Lock Washer

This split lock washer provides a circular bearing surface with offset split ends which help bite into the mating material to provide a locking feature when tightened beneath a nut. It is round with a hole in the center and can be used where loosening from corrosion or vibration is a concern. Lock washers are commonly used in any application using a bolt where two pieces are being drawn together.

I'm satisfied with the quality and price of these SLW's. For exterior applications I always dip them in white lithium grease first to prevent rust. I fully recommend.

got these for some 3/8" lag screws and was difficult to get them on. should i instead have gotten some with larger ID? can't find contact us link for Hillman, please let me know if you see this. thanks
