These swim hand paddles work well. the rubber straps hold the equipment securely to the hand and the rubber finger hold facilitates an extra secure feel when using the equipment. This product didn’t slip while in use. The quality of this product Gives me confidence that I will be able to use this product for a long time

I purchased these swim hand paddles to use on vacation while recovering from a broken ankle. I got an inflatable seat I and using these could more easily move around the pool using just my hands. When I get to a point where I can comfortably swim horizontally these should help me swim without using my recovering ankle. They will also be useful for arm training when swimming for exercise. I liked that the package contained extra straps in case anything breaks, though so far these seem quite durable.

I made the mistake of purchasing these medium size stroke paddles, thinking they were based on the size of my hand. However, I should have gone with my swim stroke mastery level - which isn't great. I'm literally getting my kids to teach me how to use these, and finally understood that the bigger the paddle, the greater the stroke skill needed. I'm a novice...and a weak one at that. The size of these require a lot more strength than I currently have. However, I'm a bit stubborn and I'm going to keep trying. These feel solid and they have a lot of possibilities - I just know I'm sort of having fun with them, in spite of my sore shoulders.

As a competitive swim coach, I have found that shaped paddles like these are comfortable for long term use. Generally, this gives the matching design by a name brand company a run for it's money - the size is nice, the thickness appropriate. The tubing is more secure (contact with full hand, wrist and finger compared to just wrist and finger). And extra tubing was included. What's not to like?Well for my hand, the curvature is off. It's as if they took one size and stretched it and didn't account for the fact that the curve would move as hand-shape changed.Good enough for me to use as loaners.

These are my first hand paddles, so i can't compare them to others, but i wouldn't know how to improve on them either.
