Comes in a cardboard box. the resin is sealed. Then has a pour lid with it.Made in ChinaI really love this set. It is great quality and I feel is all inclusive. The UV lamp is just barely big enough for the mold. Dispite the size, the UV lamp worked really well against other lights in curing the resin. You just had to let it cure two or three times on the hottest setting to cure it all the way through if there was glitter or other embellishments.I love how easy this was to set up and use just what was in the kit.This is silicone so if you have an adhesive allergy wear gloves.The edges of the stuff did need sanded. So maybe add a thing of fine grit sand paper.Make sure the molds you use are see through as it is recommended you flip the mold over and cure it from the bottom up once the top is hard.Also a mistake I made was to add too much glitter. Make sure your glitter can be seen through as otherwise it will not cure.In short, this is a great set. Full of a wide verity of crafting potential. This easily would work as a starter kit to see if you truly enjoy this kind of work.

So I have been working with regular 2 part epoxy and was curious about the UV resin. I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg to try it though. This kit seemed like it would be a good start to dip into UV resin. I have made a few little keychains for my daughter nothing over 1in thick. This kit definitely offers everything you need to get the ball rolling from a simple mold template, glitters, mixing cups, small UV lamp, and 2 decent size bottles of resin. The glitters can also be used in standard epoxy projects as well as the silicone mixing cups which I love! I do not know if it’s the UV brand or UV resin in general, but my only issue was trying alcohol inks - the UV resin remained sticky and transferred the dye to my skin when handling. I even attempted to cure for a long period even though it was a small keychain to no avail. Overall, I think this is a fantastic set for beginners looking to try UV resin and practice without spending a ton of money. The quality of the resin seemed to me great very little to zero bubbles and is crystal clear. If your new to UV coming from epoxy you will notice your projects are much much lighter and almost have a plastic feel rather that epoxy that resembles acrylic.

Making jewelry, especially earrings and necklaces, is something I enjoy doing with my girls. They always are looking for fun, exciting jewelry piece to match with their fashion. Taking an afternoon to make small jewelry pieces is a fun way to bond with them kids. The best part is seeing how much more the different jewelry pieces are appreciated when you make them yourself as you create your own style.The HeyClear UV Resin kit has everything you need to make jewelry yourself. It includes the epoxy, molds and even the glitter is included in the kit. After reading over the directions, we were able to make several dozen very unique pieces. While we were only trying to make earrings, after getting completely involved and loving every minute of it, we did way more than expected. The kids were excited in figuring out what colors and designs should be put together for the perfect pieces. After several hours of crafting and laughing, we ended up making 5 pairs of earrings, 4 necklace pieces and several pieces for bracelets. Even with all that we made, we have enough supplies from the kit to do it again.Overall I was very happy with the quality of the kit. Not only do the finished pieces look nice, you basically have everything in this kit to make many different types of jewelry and design it as you see fit. It definitely is one jewelry kit I would recommend as it's at a fair price point and offers a number of great options in this simple kit.

This is a perfect "place to start" kit, both for someone who already has epoxy resin supplies who is expanding to include UV and for someone who has never worked with resin at all. It contains a basic multi-compartment silicone mold, a silicone work mat, 2 bottles of UV resin, a sheet of decals, 2 stirring cups, 2 stirring tools, a UV lamp with built in timer, XL adult disposable gloves, a glitter kit, and instructions. The glitter kit leaked on the contents of the box, and removing glitter is always a hassle, hence the deducted star, but otherwise, the kit met to exceeded expectations. The tools are plastic, not silicone, but they hold up to working better than silicone equivalents that we own, so it's worth having to clean them. The lamp isn't the most powerful, but it does the job, and having the built in timer is a nice feature, as you can walk away and protect your eyes from the UV while it is setting, trusting that it will turn itself off when the time runs out. The mold is basic but effective, and it's inclusion enables the recipient to get right to work, and the silicone cups and mat are a nice bonus. There are, of course, plenty more things that COULD be added on to this, but it's a place to start, and it includes enough to give the craft a reasonable try before you have to spend more money. I always get asked by other moms for recommendations, and I have historically struggled for something to suggest that was just one single product at a reasonable price. Now I have an answer for them.

I really like the little molds... Especially the puzzle piece! I would have loved it even more if it could fit into itself (like if I made 12 of these, have them fit into each other like puzzle pieces - they currently don't fit). Other than that, it's been a fun little kit to play with! The UV light is nice and bright, giving enough strength to cure the resin - trick, put a mirror underneath your mold while curing under the UV light to get the best results and the UV light to really saturate through the resin... The resin itself isn't bad at all... Hasn't yellowed yet but then I won't really know that for a while... Overall, one of the best little UV resin kits I've gotten!
