When the sun hits the mesh it will mess with the clarity of vision but in the shadows it will blend into the background. Darker colors are better and this OD green is pretty dark. Works well with hats and has room for better heads/hats

This was ideal for many of my hikes that I go on, such as on a trail in Yosemite, where there are so many gnats that they were driving me crazy, so I bought these and they were amazing and helped keep me and my grandson protected from mosquitos and all the other little Flying annoying little bugs

I gave two to my neighbors (a couple). They said they should have used it sooner. What annoys me the most during yard work is the mosquitoes around my face. When I cannot hear or feel, it’ll become a problem afterward, but when they buzz around my face, I cannot easily get things done. I wear this net over a baseball cap. It creates a space between my face and the net. On the back, I have a ponytail so it creates some space as well. Mosquitoes cannot reach your skin even if this was falling straight onto your face. But I recommend a cap or hat so that it can be positioned, and keeps it that way. The bottom has an erratic closure which you can adjust to close. It is a must, to not have bugs crawling into the net.My mom has one with an opening on the top. That works well with straw hats, but it won’t work well with baseball cap since it can create a gap in opening. This stays in place once you wear it and does not slide around when you wear over a baseball cap. I’ve worked continuously for 5 hours.

I used one of these nets while brook trout fishing last night. They do the job. They are big enough to fit over a wide brim hat. The only complaint I would have, and this is a personal thing, is the netting is black. It was a dark overcast and rainy day while I was fishing and I found that the black netting was difficult to see through clearly at times. I know that might sound crazy, but with my eyesight getting worse (age 62), I found I had to wear my glasses while wearing this net, something I prefer not to do while fishing a river. Anyway, the net kept the horrible biting flies and mosquitos off of my head and face and that is what it is for. 5-star.

Good price for the quantity, they work well against mosquitos (holes are probably too large for midges), and they are made pretty well. The color is pretty good as well, but I have not tested anything over than dark green. I imagine no matter what color you get, it will obstruct vision at least a little. I would much rather wear this than get swarmed by mosquitos though.

Particularly for the price- these are high quality. You get 4 and they even come with an individual cute little drawstring carrying case. I would definately recommend- i bought mine for my construction company, currently we have a bunch of people from the far north working in the south and the chiggers, gnats, and other flying pests were just TOO much to handle. These help keep them out of their faces so they don't go stark-raving mad while working lol
