This is a replacement seat for a Polaris ATV. My dog had destroyed the OEM seat trying to get a chipmunk that had jumped up into the ATv - repair was not an option. This was a much better option than buying a replacement from Polaris.

Cheaper than used factory seats. A bit firmer foam than the factory seat but still comfortable. It is about an inch shorter at the tank and back causing a small gap but doesn't affect the functionality. All latches work for securing the seat in place like they should.

Unfortunately, this seat is not compatible with my 2006 Sportsman 500--the seat appears to be nicely made, with quality materials--however, the length of the seat is 3/4 of an inch short. The seat does not fit closely to the gas tank--there's a 3/4 inch gap from behind the tank to the seat...

Had to modify a bit. As the holes for the front slots have a little lip and original doesnt. But if your to lazy to file or use your drimmel for a min. Pay a couple hundred dollars more from the dealer.

The seat works but isn't a perfect fit I kept it because it worked and for the price I can live with it.
