I take there is some tool needed to prise apart the springs so that they can be fitted?I found it impossible to even wedge them in sideways, so saying all that's needed is a hammer isn't really true.I'd appreciate a guide on how to do this. They appear to be decent quality though.

I put 20s on my 2005 Taurus and the back rubbed real bad when going over bumps or having anyone in the back seat or even groceries in the trunk. After installing these to the rear springs, it doesn't rub anymore at all. Very easy to install I didn't have to even take off the wheels just jacked up the back of the car and popped them on. Simple as that. Car still rides fine no issues highly recommend. 5/5
