Replaced this part on my 2007 Ford Focus. I also sprayed some WD-40 through the vents onto the control panels to soften the seals. Initially, it didn't work at the extreme ends of travel but two weeks later it works now.

The shaft on the control would not turn. I have sent it back and requested another one. It is supposed to come today, and we will see if it is any better.
