Works great in my converted cargo trailer. Sat it outside, piped it into a hole in the floor. It was only 50° at night, but level 1 kept me plenty warm. Ran about 9 hours, used 1/2 tank of fuel. Definitely gets the job done.

To the person or persons that have made reviews stating that the heaters work great on a car battery, but when plugged into a perfectly good 120volt ac outlet, it pops the breaker in the house and blows the motherboard on the heater... It's not 120 volt ac friendly because it's only a 12 volt dc system... To use it on the 120 volt ac outlet it's simple, just get an old CPU power supply (most are 12 volt dc output) and use it for your heater... I bought my first one 2 years ago, I have made a harness for using my 20 volt tool batteries to run it as well as a harness for using the CPU power supply... Works great. I just recently bought a second one, to use in the house when the power is out, we ran the exhaust out through a double walled boat exhaust port through the wall , and it kept the pipes from freezing in -20degree weather with no problem at all... But use your head and please do not plug directly into an ac outlet, it runs on dc ...

This heater works as seen in the many more recent diesel heater video reviews on Amazon and YouTube. It puts out a lot of heat off of a high energy diesel fuel in a very safe way by separating the heated air from any combusted fuel product exhaust using heat exchangers! It is currently easily able to heat my 600 SF, 20ft high ceiling moderately insulated office space in N CA w/normally 40s night temps at a level that a 1500W electric heater could not accomplish and this is on 2/6 setting level and partitioning most of the hot air at the lower part of the office. The unit is very fuel efficient using less than 2L to heat office for 8-10 hrs on Level 2, will still expand to an external tank (from 5L to 5 Gal). Biggest issues are the initial startup blow back smell and of course the ticking which are addressed below. It was relatively easy to put together but only because there is a ton of videos on how to best and safely set up the heater in a variety of situations. The User Manual is highly deficient in details, notably no unit specs listed, no real assembly instructions, diagrams and guidelines for placement, orientation and operation of the assembled unit in my case an outdoor install. I pre-ordered CO monitor, IR temperature sensor and exhaust insulation for safety purposes. Note that this SE model does not include a 12 VDC adapter for operation off 117VAC mains unlike former at sale kit versions and models did and in fact their web site does not even have their adapter in stock. This was a mis-interpretation on my part rectified by watching YT vid recommending LED power adapter with at least 250W capacity to handle the startup surges that many batteries and Power Stations and other adapters might fail to provide! Also I bought a UPS capable Power Station to back up the adapter in case of outages that cud damage the unit.I have this unit run thru an old doggy door with a cutout for the outlet hose and power cord. I insulated the cutout with Teflon tape as the pipe temp can get a bit high. The hot air supply very short pipe was lengthened using a portable AC hose to lengthen the very short outlet pipe to the middle of the room. To defeat the startup fumes, am ordering a much longer exhaust pipe (fm 3 to >6 ft) that will best separate the initial startup exhaust from the intake tube, and will wrap some of the pipe in insulation wrap to prevent any hot spots. For noise reduction will try to enclose the pump unit and eventually build or buy enclosure for entire unit, not ready to change pump nor buy more expensive recent lower noise units.
