Have only had it a year and I don’t burn a lot of pellets and this one is worn out! The original one that came with the stove lasted for years!

Its been in use w weeks on and off and already staing to erode away??!! WTH!! at this rate won't last actual winter use. its my third one! I foumd a SS fabricated ine in E#@%Y and I expect a SS willlast much longer. same price too. Nit sure where or what these are made of but they should be able to take any amkunt of heat since its suppose to be cast iron. Im just using it in low, not much pellets running through it for early fall warming of living room so I can't imagine how fast it will wear out when using it in cold weather this winter. I am ising low feed rates and low room temps etc..must be made out of some pourous junk iron.. makes no sense. and if these are actual Harmon parts then they should be ashamed.

I've been waiting a couple weeks for a response as to what to do with this. I will not buy this again online. It was not the quality of what I would get at the actual fireplace store. It was cheaper - I will give it that! But the ones I buy from the actual Fireplace shop will last the whole burn season. This barely made it a month before it started melting down.

The auger does t not stay in place. It is too short and slides out of place. Works for a couple mins at best.
