Just received this today and am very happy. The quality seems great for the price I paid. My 11 year old is on an Xcel gymnastics team. I got the 17 ft which is just long enough for her to do a roundoff, back handspring, back handspring if she gets a running start and makes sure to start her roundoff right at the edge of the mat. I do wish it was a little wider. We got the 3.3 ft wide mat and if her tumbling pass isn’t a straight line and veers off to one side a bit she will land off the mat which is kind of scary. I wish there was something in between, like 4 ft since 6 ft is a bit to big. The carrying bag is kind of a joke...I was thinking it would be like a reuse able duffle bag type thing but it is more like one of those very light weight disposable sacks...not durable at all. But, I didn’t purchase it for the bag...so it doesn’t bother me.

My daughter has wanted this air mat for quite some time. We bought it for her for Christmas and I must say, I’m quite impressed with the quality of the mat. It’s very durable and not flimsy at all. She is on dance team and in tumbling, and is getting a lot of use. We may end up buying more of these.

My seven year old son is a competitive dancer and began to take acro this year. With summer vacation ahead, I wanted to have something for him to practice on at home that was safe vs him practicing aerials in the grass. I purchased the 17ft because I wanted him to have the extra room for his harder skills and still provide a supportive and safer surface for when he lands on his butt. We found the size to be perfect! I think anything smaller would have been a waste. While this product is pricey, you also get what you pay for in my opinion. He's been using it not stop for 2 weeks. The mat is sturdy and very easy to blow up and deflate. The only negative, and it's minor, is that even with the carry bag, it's bulky and heavy.

I made my daughter save her own money to purchase this because I didn't want to spend on something that she would one, not use because it was too hard to manage or, two it was not of good quality. I ended up paying my daughter back for the mat. It is so easy to inflate and deflate and move around by herself and she uses it all the time. It is of much better quality then expected and I am very pleased with it.

Our 15 year old daughter is a dancer who likes to add some acro tricks to her routines. She feels comfortable working on her aerial and other tricks at home now, and she almost has mastered her aerial. The length is great for her. I was worried that it would not be wide enough for her to do aerials, walkovers and cartwheels, but it doesn't need to be wider unless you are practicing a full floor routine. I am also looking forward to my 7 year old granddaughter using it when she visits. After looking at several other mats, I found this one to have the best price for this style. We are extremely pleased!
