I bought this for my steel tongue drum. At original set up it was to low for me. After carefully looking at the instructions I changed the way the legs opened and it is at correct height for me. It's small enough that I am able to leave my drum out ready to play at anytime! Of course I wouldn't put it in a high traffic area near children or dogs for safety reasons.I go to a conservative King James teaching church and they have never allowed drums till they heard hymns played on the steel tongue drum! I bought a light weight music stand which has a carrying bag. My drum stand fits into it and that is what I take back and forth to church with. I just leave the stand set up so I don't have to readjust anything at church, and the snare stand is ready to go as soon as I take it out of the bag.Yes, I would buy it again!

Pretty basic. Bought it for my Balmy Tongue drum. Holds it a nice height.Pivots & folds up for storage
