Doesn't work very well. It struggled to just get a seal out. It flexes too much for anything meaningful.

Update: Seller contacted and offered a full refund, due to their actually reaching out as many sellers do not, and adding that after my "alterations" the tool is working, I raised my rating to 2 stars. While I have been offered a refund, as I altered the tool already I will not seek it.First and foremost, I recommend not buying this unit, or ones manufactured at the same plant sold under different brands. If you do, I offer some solutions to the issues I found.I Bought this unit due to it being available quickly. When trying to use it I discovered the puller legs extremely loose fitting causing them to move off the bushing sleeve. Also discovered that due to the bearing being installed on the wrong side of the puller, the unit began pulling the threaded mechanism out of the jaw. While this happened I discovered the bearing had been assembled dry with no lubrication present one the bearing or bearing case. The loose legs were caused by poor machining leaving the jaw too wide where the legs attached coupled with the hole for the pins being too large of a diameter. While attempting to make the tool usable, I wound up getting metal shards in my hand from where the casting wasn't cleaned well and the finish plating had flaking.My fixes, for those unlucky enough to get one of these;1 I installed grade 10.8 8mm bolts in place of the pins with a flange nut to allow me to compress the sides of the jaw to remove the excess gap.2 I flipped the legs to place the bearing in a position to bear the force of removal.3 Due to the stress of pinching the jaw, the bearing casing deformed slightly requiring me to use valve lapping compound to grind enough material out to allow free movement.4 I greased to bearing with a high pressure grease before reassembling.5 I used a fine file to remove leftover burs and flaking metal from the unit left over from the casting and finish process at the manufacturer.All in all I spent over an hour tweaking and correcting this unit to be able to use it. If you are ok with the work, this unit will be functional although still not something you can truly rely on. I strongly do not recommend this tool.

I usually don’t write reviews on tools but I used this tool for pulling bearing races in a real tough spot. It worked like a charm. I highly suggest this tool for your weekend warrior to professional mechanics.The pros “good quality tool at a low price.The only con is you may need to locate some of the fittings on the slide hammer and the case is a little weak.All in all, I give it five stars.

low quality metal and precision, has a hard time grabbing bearing edges. some bearing sizes are awkwardly in between the puller sizes. Still ultimately has worked for me but with multiple tries and fiddling.

This is a review for 16PCS Blind Inner Bearing Puller Blind Hole Collet Bearing Race and Seal Puller Extractor Kit, Slide Hammer Pilot Insert Inner Bearing Removal Tool Set.I can’t say a lot about the case. I’ll just say it is extremely cheaply made and I feel the hinge aspect will break quickly and easily. I also feel it is formed as thinly as they possibly could do it.The parts of the kit seem pretty decent, but I have only used one to remove a pilot bearing and it did that well. The finished seem durable but time will tell on that.I guardedly recommend this kit. It is okay but I’ve not used every tool in the kit. Do your research and purchase with caution.

After decades of using pin punches to remove bearing races, I'm really looking forward to using this set. Having three 'legs' to grab the race at the same time is really going to be nice, and including both the slide-hammer and the threaded puller is a nice touch, too.Happy camper.
