This shirt has a very business woman feel to it. It is not very soft, it’s more scratchy, powersuit blouse sort of vibe. It can be super dressy with a skirt or casual but classy with a pair of jeans and a sweater. My 7 year old wore it to school with a cami underneath and a sweater and sandals and she got a lot of complements from teachers. It might be a sweaty shirt for warmer months but for a 67 degree spring day, it was just fine. While I don’t particularly care for the fabric of this, I got her one of these in baby blue and baby pink because they are pretty cute and lightweight and versatile. I have hand washed these and used the washer in a regular cycle, hung up to dry, and they haven’t had any issues with stains or shrinkage. (And my daughter definitely gave me a run for my money when she spilled chocolate milk on herself and it washed right out.)
