I got this for my son for an upcoming trip to the beach. I like that it has a front zipper so he can wear like a jacket. The fabric is thin. My son is a typical 9yo and this size 11-12 year old is tight.

I ordered this rash guard in black with white sleeves in the largest size available (13-14 years) for my 13 year old son. He is tall and skinny and unfortunately this rash guard is just ever so slightly short in the arms. It fits ok everywhere else and I think it will be fine for this summer, but it will be too small for him next summer. It's ok though because he has a younger brother he can hand it down to. I love that this rash guard has a zipper in the front because it makes it so much easier to take off. Most rash guards are so hard to take off once they are wet. The fabric and stitching is good quality and it provides good sun protection. I prefer long sleeve rash guards over short sleeve ones for full protection. We have hot summers and the sun can be really strong where we live. The black/white color is versatile and goes with most swim trunk colors. It's a great value, currently priced at $9.98.

This swim shirt is perfect for my son who is just learning how to swim. The material is soft and comfortable, and protects most of his skin from the sun. I ordered the 5-6 year old shirt and it fits perfectly on my 4y/o son. Granted he is on the taller side. He takes changes himself after swimming, and the front zipper makes it possible for him to be independent. We all know taking off a wet shirt is impossible even as an adult!

This rash guard fits true to size. My son is an 8, and the 9-10 fits a little large on him, which I was hoping, so he could grow into it. The colors are true to the pictures, and they hold up in the wash (I was in cold water). I wanted a bright color to see him easily, and this orange is perfect for that.He likes the zip up, so he can easily get it on and off. He says it's comfortable for swimming and playing. It does chafe a little when he wears his life vest, with the vest tight to his chest, but he says he'll probably wear a short sleeve under it to help with that. I like that there's no more wrestling on and off with wet clothing. While he gets himself dressed himself, sometimes he needs help when clothes are wet, and this way he can be more independent. So far we haven't tried it in full sun, just to the pool or kayaking on cloudy days, but the long sleeves should provide him protection against the glaring sun, but the lighter color on his arms help repel the direct rays. He's looking forward to summers on the lake!

This rash guard is perfect for anyone with fair skinned children like I have! I love that it has a zipper that goes all the way from the top to the bottom for easy on and off, especially when they’re wet! I wish that it came in a couple of other colors as blue is not easily seen underwater bright orange, or red would’ve been better, but I settled for gray, hoping that that would stand out a little better than blue. I really like that. It has a chin guard to keep their neck and chin safe from the zipper! Doesn’t seem to be too see-through, which is great!

This is a great quality rash guard. The zipper is thick and sturdy. The fabric is thick and durable. The one thing to note is the long arms, which I will take over being short. The torso is also longer which is a big plus, then the kiddos don't get sun exposure when they bend and play. The colors are true to picture. The size is also on par in my opinion. My kiddo is a 5T in Kohls and Target brands, and the 5-6 in this brand fit very well. The neck is a bit lower than I would like, but thats preference. Overall, I am very happy with this rash guard.

Decent, but not perfect. I bought this UPF+ 50 rash guard for my 10-year-old, and while it's serving its purpose, it doesn't quite fit as expected. The length is a bit shorter than I'd like, and the width is a bit wider than necessary. However, I do want to mention that the quality of the material is very good. The fabric is quick drying and seems durable. The UPF+ 50 protection is also a big plus.Overall, I'd give it 3 stars. It's not a bad purchase, but the fit could be improved. If you're looking for a rash guard with good sun protection, this might be a good option

This is so much easier to get on and off than the over-the-head type. It has a fabric flap behind the zipper and a fabric corner for the zipper pull to protect the child. It fits my 7yo grandson well and he likes it. We haven't has a chance to try it out in the sun yet since its still too cool, but I am looking forward to the protection from UV rays.
