This came in and I had my brother replace it for me the next day. Worked perfect and had everything we needed in the kit. Mower runs like new again

My husband has had no luck with this kit , it comes with 6/8 gaskets goodluck trying to get them all in place without them slipping out. You need a special glue and honestly what mower needs 6 gaskets?

Replaced another replacement carb for my craftsman push mower with a Honda GCV160 engine. The original carb lasted a few years, the first replacement (different cheapo brand) didn't last a year before the bowl started to leak incessantly. This new replacement bolted on easily (take note of the gasket orientations), and surprisingly started up on the very first pull. Mowed a few times so far and working well this far. Time will tell on longevity. Note, some of the included gaskets are of a slightly different shape from the originals, but focus on the inner hole size and you'll be good.

Bought this to repair a Honda engine push mower for my sister. Mower was bought new and sat in her garage for 12 years. Installed this carb in minutes and mower started 2nd pull. Trouble free operation all summer. Cant ask for more at this price.

I have had trouble starting my mower for a few years. I installed everything from this kit and it fired up on the first pull of the rope! I wish I had done this sooner!

I have a nice Honda lawnmower that we didnt have to use for the last couple of years thanks to the landscaper however it didnt make much sense to let it sit so I thought I'd get it running and give it to my son (who is just buying his first house). It wouldnt start so after the usual - new fuel, carb clean, new plug, etc and still getting nowhere I purchased this carburetor so I could repair it myself. If you have even the most basic skills you can do this even if like me your specialty is not small engine repair. I was able to get the old one off, the new one on and the mower back up and running in less than an an hour and that includes double checking my work and testing before I put everything 100% back together. The instructions were easy but there are some online videos that make it a cake walk. The one 'off book' recommendation I received was to also replace the Thermo Wax at the same time which was the right call. One of each...less than $40 in parts and I had a great mower up and running in record time. It has been running just fine since - no issues and I could not be happier with the decision to give this a shot myself instead of pay someone to replace it at "retail lawnmower repair" rates. Absolutely worth the time and money.
