Great for the money!! It is a little noisy.... BUT ITS A SINGLE COIL!! It’s supposed to be little noisy. I also use a noise gate with it and it’s perfect!!I run separate output from the stratacoustics piezo and blend Acoustic Amps and Electric Amps!! It’s awesomeness

The pickup is a ceramic single coil. It is well voiced to the acoustic application, with warm tones. Output level is decent and the bobbin is wound with plenty of wire. The volume and tone pots are the typical mini pots. The volume works well. The tone has the green cap on it. As usual, the tone does very little until it is at 1 or 2, then it's really on. I had a terrible buzzing until I switched cords. 60 hz buzz is there and is normal in single coils, but there was also a lot of interference from the microwave and lights. My strat does not have the same interference with any cords, despite using single coils. Overall, it's well worth the money, but don't be surprised if you have some buzz to deal with. Switching cords worked for me.Update: The buzz is not really an issue anymore. I eliminated the tone pot, since I didn't want that anyway. I'm actually able to play through the heaviest distortion on my Line 6 Spider IV-30. It doesn't exactly sound like an electric guitar, but it sounds pretty wicked.
