I bought this pickguard to replace the original on my Blueridge BG60, which is a copy of a 1940's Gibson J45. This looks so much better than the pickguard that came on the guitar! The color and pattern are very esthetic looking. The pickguard is thinner than the Gibson pickguards, more like contemporary ones that come on a good guitar. Because it is thin, it will not have an impact on the sound of the guitar, but if you are buying this for a vintage Gibson and want to retain the original look, you might want to look for one that is thicker. For my purpose it is perfect, and looks fantastic.
