We are planning on using the truss systems for our light show we do each Christmas. I like the crank up ability and that it keeps my husband off the roof during the snowy winters! They seem to be high quality; sturdy and well made. We shouldn't have any problems in our area which gets really windy during the fall and winter. They also were delivered very quickly! I was told it would take about 10 days and we received them in 5! I'll try to remember to update this after the real test this winter!

This item is very cheap made and quite a bit smaller than the typical truss you would purchase. It's not up to any standards in the industry and won't work with most clamps and hardware. I did not open the package. The seller wants me to pay the EXPENSIVE shipping return costs PLUS a 15% restocking fee. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER. YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY

Took a long time to pull the trigger on this thing because spending 500$ on a rack seemed like more than I wanted but 0 regrets, this thing is going to last me a LONG time. Some thoughts on the product:- Size is amazing! Being able to go from 5 - 10 - 15ft is a huge deal, makes this super versatile- Manufacturing assemblers were kinda bad. Things were crooked that shouldn't be (fixable with screwdriver and socket wrench) I spent the first hour that I assembled it adjusting things so that they were straight and not crooked- The crank works great and raised/lowered all my gear without any trouble- The clips that it comes with *are usable* but I wouldn't recommend them for expensive and heavy gear. I had to get some additional clamps for things like moving head lights and the laser. You want the 1.18”-1.38”(30-35mm) kind for this particular rig because it's slightly thinner tubing than industry standard.Overall though issues aside, wow you get a lot of bang for your buck. Super happy I picked it up. Beware it does not come with any bags for travel/storage. I ended up getting a few XMAS tree storage bags with zippers and they seem to do the job well enough.

This is a great and affordable product. Highly recommend.I used this guy in a semi-permanent installation where I had to mount some heavy gear from it - including an older television in the center (which was a project with the pipe diameter on this rig - maybe this company could make a TV mount?! 😎) and a boatload of lights. It has held up flawlessly for months, even with a lot of adjustments and gear swap outs. All together, I think it’s a fantastic product for the price point. Well done!Note: I did hang 2 support cables from the ceiling to stabilize the center of the truss because of the heavy stuff I had to mount there. Mostly out of an abundance of caution and to prevent sag. Worked like a charm. That said, don’t think you’d ever have a problem with sag if you’re just mounting modern lighting. Seems very sturdy.things to know:-the pipe diameter is smaller than standard more expensive trusses, so be aware of that before buying mounting hardware. The clamps that come with this are fairly useless so you’ll have to buy more hardware. Not a huge problem as long as you know ahead of time.- I’ve had issues raising and lowering the truss, but if you fuss with it, you can usually fix it. The problem usually occurs when trying to lower the truss. Just be patient lol

First of all, this is an inexpensive system and with that you are not getting premium products. Know this before buying it:1. The legs contain a fair amount of ABS (plastic) including the leg bracket assemblies. Don’t expect years of service if you aren’t careful with these.2. The diameter of the truss is very small and it is only 6" wide compared to many more professional models.3. The company's attempt to save money extends to the packaging. These are HEAVY pieces shipped in one big box. I heard the UPS driver DROP mine when he delivered it and I was about 100 years away from my house! The boxes and packing materials used are very thin and definitely not rated for the weight of these items. You should expect pieces to be lost and/or damaged during shipping as the box will not survive transit. Now as to the product itself - overall, the truss system was about what I expected. I would call it medium duty, but for my occasional use the size is very nice. I was lucky and even though I had some missing hardware, the stands and truss arrived in good working condition although they were beat up cosmetically. The hardware that connects everything together leaves a little bit to be desired. This is designed for portable use, meaning it will likely be assembled and disassembled regularly and the hardware included does NOT lend itself to this process very well. You should plan on spending more money on hardware to remedy this.1. The truss sections bolt together, and as I mention it is only 6" truss and the connections are on the inside of the sections. The bolts and nuts require wrenches (not included) in order to properly tighten/loosen them. I replaced the regular nuts with wing nuts to assist with this process as the regular ones are difficult to get snug and remove without tools, and time is always of the essence.2. The truss sections have small bolts and wing nuts instead of pins to attach them to the stands. These again are difficult to get in place, and will likely get dropped and lost the first time you put this together on a dark stage. Complete garbage. I replaced them with spring pins from the hardware store (this should have come standard and are included with most truss adapters!)3. The nuts that attach the cranks to the stands were missing. These are needed to keep the cranks from unscrewing when you crank the stands down. Another trip to the hardware store or you can try your luck with the manufacturer and wait.4. The included clamps are not very good. Plan on buying O-Clamps and know that you need 1 1/8" clamps (a bit of an odd size but they are out there).Other concerns?1. The top sections of the crank-up stands do not fit will, and can turn inside the stands causing them to be misaligned and not work properly as there are channels that must line up with the crank and the fixing knob. Pay attention to this as you are cranking them up and down.2. The powder coating is thin and soft. Everything scratches VERY easily.3. The price fluctuates. The price on mine dropped to $375 the day after I got mine and the seller graciously offered to let me return it at my expense rather than give me a price adjustment.Overall, my experience was underwhelming with this item. It would have been much better if a little more thought had gone into the design and a little more care had gone into the packing. TIme will tell about durability.
