This are very tasty, soo convenient and I can use shallots even when not in season. These shallots are sweet and savory just like fresh.

They have a great flavor and are good to put into soups and also nice just to add to your bone broth when you’re drinking it.

I add these to a spice blend. 2 parts shallot, 2 parts dried chives, 1 part green peppercorns, .5 Himalayan salt. Grind in my spice grinder to desired consistency. Goes on just about everything. Rice, pork, soups, sauces, chicken, even sprinkle on my tuna salad before eating. Have bought these twice now, will buy again. They rehydrate quickly used straight in veggies, I haven't used them for anything else.

This was the first time I tried dried shallots and was pleased. I have not tried other brand’s so I can not be totally sure about the quality compared to other brands, these did clump, but otherwise these worked great. I always thought that dried shallots would be a good idea like minced onions, and sure enough these were great!
