This is a cute, frilly little cardigan for a pre-teen girl. It's a loose weave, so it is not too warm. It's perfect for my granddaughter to wear to church. Being white, it goes with any color. It's really cute on.

Bought for our granddaughter’s first communion. Her dress has ruffles and I thought it would be a nice compliment. They live 2 hours away so I sent her mommy a picture to see if she liked it. She said she loved it so much!The quality is very nice and the detail is lovely, it is going to be perfect over her dress.

I could not pass up this sweater for my granddaughter, as it is very much like what I wore as a child in the late 50's and early 60's. I had been looking for a cardigan as our climate is one that starts out cold enough for the car heater on the way to school, and warm enough for the AC by pickup. She also gets too warm at school sometimes, and this allows her to wear short sleeves under it, and take off when needed. The sweater itself is just beautiful; the pointelle-styling with the little holes is lovely,and the mesh at the top allows a contrasting color underneath to peek out. Indeed, I struggled picking between the pink and the navy because I thought both would look so pretty layered over different colors. I deducted one star because it cannot be tumble dried, and when dried flat, some of the little ruffles (mainly on the front) curled up slightly. Next washing I may experiment with drying face down. Either way, it would only require a light touch up with the iron of you are obsessed with perfection. I decided I was not, and didn't bother, lol. Maybe next time, or if it is a more special occasion than just school.

We got this for our daughter to wear with a nice dress for the holidays, and this cardigan has turned out to be so very cute! The ruffles, the detail in the knitting, and its overall design looks incredibly high quality. It paired perfectly with a fancy dress, though it can be used with less dressy attire and still fit right in.Obviously, these are not the thickest style of sweaters, but it did help provide an additional layer that could be worn under a coat outside. This is especially helpful when you are traveling to a dress up event. Our daughter could wear the cardigan with her dress and sweater under a thick winter coat, and then once indoors the coat could come off, and the sweater could stay on.All around, this is a pretty sweater, with a great design that pairs wonderfully with a dress. Definitely recommend!
