I had to replace my 22 yr old stock bilstien struts. Pros: Definitely got rid of the bottoming out in the rear. Handles pretty darn good! Adjustment feature works well! They have dust covers. Easy bolts right in!My concerns: There might not be enough travel designed in them. Maybe this was sacrificed for the option of extreme lowering not sure. The spring compresses quite a bit when lowered off the jack which might take away from travel. But ride is stiff so I don't think the system is too soft. Also, They are pink. Not a fan of the color. Lastly my main concern is the material the shock housing are made of. The metal looks like a cheap cast that could possibly crack under hard driving. I guess we will have to jump some steep hills in San Francisco to find out.

Perfect fit, great ride, fully adjustable, affordable, great coilover suspension shocks, easy to install yourself. I put these in my 2008 mazda Mx5 miata in about four hours. You need a 17mm wrench, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 17mm sockets. Remove the four plastic trim pieces in the trunk to access the rear shocks. Remove the sheet metal trim piece with the 10mm bolts, unbolt the two shock bolts with 14mm nuts. Jack up right rear and remove tire. Unbolt the 12mm bolt holding the top of the shock in. Remove the 17mm bolt from the bottom of shock. Temporarily remove the two bolts holding the rear sway bar in from the car frame. Hammer the bottom of the shock off the post. Grab the new Godspeed shock coilover for the right rear drivers side. If you want a 1.5 inch drop set the top two rings firmed up on bottom of spring... Screw the bottom up the silver threaded tube until it is flush with the top of the square hole as seen in picture. Tighten the collar rings so nothing shifts. Install it as reverse as removing the stock shock. The other rear coilover installs the same. For the front, jack the front up, unbolt the bolts holding the strut tower braces and the 3 14mm bolts holding the shock tower on top. Remove front wheel and unbolt the 17mm bolt holding the bottom of the shock on. Unbolt the two 17mm bolts holding the top of the top control arm as seen in the picture. Unbolt the two bolts holding the front sway bar on the frame. You can slide the top of the shock out while standing on the brake rotor. Grab the new Godspeed shock and screw the top two rings firm and snug up to the spring. Then if you want a 1.5 inch drop lowering then screw the bottom out 5 full turns from all the way in. And/or 7mm of thread space in between the collars as seen in the picture. Then install them in reverse as removing the stock shocks. I run the preload adjustment on the top of the coilovers in the middle of the 16 adjustable settings. It's a very comfortable ride and not super hard. If you need a more firm ride for racing or for lower than a 1.5" lowering you can tighten up the top two collars to compress the springs. I highly recommend these Godspeed coilovers. I suggest you get an alignment after. Lastly this was how I installed them, it's not official or an exact guide or how to. Feel free to ask me questions on fb -matt behning
