Having used the Godox AD400 Pro, I found it lacking in power when trying to overpower the sun. The Godox AD600 Pro II addresses this perfectly. The standout feature for me is the 600-watt output, which is essential for achieving strong, balanced lighting during sunset portrait sessions. The 40W bi-color LED modeling lamp, adjustable from 2800K to 6000K, is another significant advantage. It allows me to accurately pre-visualize the lighting, eliminating the need to guess the final result. I love the upgraded TFT color screen, which provides a much more intuitive and user-friendly interface for navigating the settings. I also value the backward compatibility with my existing Godox XPro transmitter, in addition to its compatibility with the new X3. The build quality feels robust, and the overall capabilities have exceeded my expectations. If you are in search of a powerful and versatile flash for your photography, the Godox AD600 Pro II is an excellent choice to consider.

I use the Godox AD600Pro with the Godox X3 in my studio, and this setup has truly transformed my workflow. The AD600Pro packs a punch in power and reliability, making it perfect for studio shoots. When paired with the X3, controlling settings becomes a breeze—everything is intuitive, from adjusting output to using TTL, so I can focus more on creativity and less on fiddling with controls.This combo is incredibly beginner-friendly and has streamlined my approach to studio lighting. If you’re new to studio photography, I can’t recommend this duo enough—it’s hands down the most intuitive setup I’ve ever used!

Very similar to the Pro I except this has the wireless sync feature which helps with using the light on cue. The screen has been upgraded and looks way better than before. There are a lot of other additions to this item that make it worth the while. Really good product.Recommended.

Ordered 2 of the Godox AD600 Pro II flashes. Both units were shipped in same box. Took out the first unit and set it up. First thing I had to do is remove the plastic film protection on the red flash detection lens and set the language from Chinese to English to program the flash. When I went to do the same for the second flash it had no plastic film and the language was already set to English. Secondly there were fingerprints on the flash. And yes, I kept both flashes in my possession when I took them out of their respective boxes.The Godox AD600 Pro II is a great flash for location shooting. The company now has ordered 8 of these units and I have personally unboxed and setup each one. I know the difference between new and used or open. It is a shame that sellers like this are allowed on the Amazon platform and I hope Amazon takes action. I highly recommend the flash but I would look for a different seller.

This puts out a lot of power and easily syncs with the X3 trigger which is a very convenient feature. The modeling lamp is decently strong. I used it in a diffused umbrella and could see well enough. Battery life is impressive; I used it for an entire afternoon at around 1/4-ish power and only knocked off 1 bar of battery life. I usually buy an extra battery for any flash just in case but I feel like I could get away with quite a lot unless I need it at 1/1 all day.Haven’t tested all the high speed sync options but they’re all there so I have no doubt they work as well as any other godox flash I have.I’ve used profoto flashes and while they are very nice I’ve really been sold on Godox for everything but the most corporate/high end of shoots in terms of quality for the money. Happy to have added this flagship to my studio kit!

This Godox AD600 Pro II is an amazing upgrade I am sure... however I am starting out with this version and love it so far. It pairs with my X3 triggers and goes down to as low as 1/512 (won't do 1/512 with older triggers) to boot. There is also a built in LED (Model) light so you can use it as a video light (would only recommend for a short time unless you have the optional AC power adapter) as well. The large screen is nice and the menus are pretty intuitive for a flash. If you need the best of the best flash then this is for you.
