Functions:
The Beauty dish creates a unique lighting pattern on the subject offering a round catch light in the eye of the subject, often used in fashion and the beauty industries to create excellent skin tones which are soft and uniform. It is a device used to create soft light - it works by using a parabolic reflector to distribute light towards a focal point.
The light created is between that of a direct flash and a softbox, hence giving the image of a wrapped, contrasted look, which adds a very dramatic effect.
Sliver interior provides a cooler, more contrasted light compared to that of a white beauty dish.

This is a small, all metal beauty dish. This is generally useful for closeup portraits in a studio.The light throw is wide. It is not a deep focus dish.It has an internal reflector dish already installed and comes with a diffuser cloth to soften the light.The interior is white.It is a Bowens mount.Overall, I think this is a good beauty dish for small studio work.

This reflector is great for cramped shoots because of its small size. It works perfectly with my Godox constant on led light. It emits a soft light without any hotspots.

This solid beauty dish and diffuser works great on my Godox LED constant on photography lamp. The light is soft and well diffused with no hot spots. Very nice to have a constant on beauty dish to move around to get the light in the perfect spot. Excellent product!

I've been wanting to get a beauty dish for a very long time, but I don't really do enough beauty work to justify the cost/weight/storage etc Godox put out just the right size at the right price to me with their trusted name to go ahead and pull the trigger. It's a solid modifier that you can't take apart so theres still some size with this one, but it's worth it for me to have in my kit. Well made and produces such gorgeous light on a models face with minimal effort.
